Former MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi, became a star in the Rally of Monza, Italy, after defeating eight-time world champion, Sebastien Loeb, in stage two of the nine stage that was held on Monday (11/28/2011). Rossi eventually finished second and Loeb became the first champion.

Monza Rally 2011 is an annual event that was held with nine stages on paved roads. This year, the Monza rally dedicated to the memory of Marco Simoncelli who died in the accident Malaysian MotoGP series.
