BOGOR – Yamaha sebagai sponsor resmi motor cabang olahraga balap motor Pra PON dan PON (Pekan Olahraga Nasional) XVIII/2012 bekerjasama dengan PP IMI (Pengurus Pusat Ikatan Motor Indonesia) sukses menyelenggarakan pra kualifikasi PON XVIII/2011 yang digelar di sirkuit Sentul, 25-26 November.

Sebanyak 23 pembalap di kelas perseorangan dan 15 pembalap (yang dilihat adalah 15 pengprov mereka) di kelas beregu lolos untuk berpartisipasi di PON yang akan berlangsung di Riau tahun depan. Empat emas diperebutkan dari kelas 115 cc perseorangan dan beregu dan 125 cc perseorangan dan beregu.

Lolosnya pembalap setelah mengikuti kualifikasi mengitari 20 lap dengan catatan waktu dan poin terbaik sesuai syarat yang ditetapkan. DI Yogyakarta dan DKI Jakarta menempatkan pembalapnya di tiga besar teratas dengan catatan waktu terbaik di kelas 115 cc dan 125 cc.

Di kelas 115 cc perseorangan, tiga teratas adalah Sigit PD (DI Yogyakarta), Rey Ratukore (DKI Jakarta) dan Fitriansyah (Kalimantan Timur). Di kelas 125 cc perseorangan, tiga teratas adalah Ferlando Herdian (Bengkulu), Hendriansyah (DI Yogyakarta) dan M.Nurgianto (DKI Jakarta).

“Target saya bisa 3 besar di PON karena dukungan mekanik handal,” ucap Sigit PD. Kepala mekanik tim DKI Jakarta, Hawadis, mengatakan target timnya emas. “Target kami emas karena materi pembalap sudah cukup memadai, tinggal cari keberuntungan, tegasnya.”

Pada Pra PON kali ini Yamaha menyediakan 160 motor, 80 Jupiter Z dan 80 Jupiter MX. Dan untuk PON 90 motor. Dua motor kebanggaan Yamaha itu sudah dikenal luas sebagai motor dengan keunggulan kecepatan sehingga sangat sesuai untuk melintas di sirkuit balap.

Jupiter MX memiliki perangkat teknologi balap, forged piston dan qdiasil cylinder. Sedangkan Jupiter Z dikenal keunggulannya di event-event nasional yang diikuti Yamaha dan mengantarkan pabrikan Garpu Tala sebagai juara di Motoprix dan Indoprix. Termasuk Yamaha Cup Race yang membina dan melahirkan pembalap-pembalap handal.

BORE UP + STROKE UP YAMAHA JUPITER MX

Ditengah gerimis hujan pada minggu pagi itu, setelah kemenangan indah semalam balap drag bike di park sirkuit pantai ria Kenjeran, datanglah seorang MX rider ke bengkel dalam kondisi suram dengan motor yang tampak mengenaskan. Yamaha Jupiter MX itu tinggal kerangka saja, tanpa cover bodynya yang macho, sebagian mesin – radiator sudah dipereteli, tanpa knalpot, datang ke bengkel dalam kondisi di derek bersama temannya. Perjuangan yang sangat gigih, mengingat ternyata jarak antara rumahnya dengan bengkel RAT lebih dari 25 kilometer jauhnya. Beliau rela menembus hujan menderek perlahan-lahan motor nya ke bengkel. Salute!

Setelah berkenalan, MR. T namanya, gayanya sangat santai, casual, namun bicaranya tegas, tersirat kematangan usia dibalik dirinya. Dimulailah sesi curhat, mx ini adalah kendaraan ia sehari-hari bekerja sebagai tenaga marketing, juga jika sore hari ingin jalan-jalan memutari kompleks bersama sang buah hati, kadang dipakai untuk perjalanan keluar kota dengan jarak tempuh ratusan kilometer, tak terkecuali pula buat kebut-kebutan kalau ada bocah smu tengil di jalan… hehehe… Begitu ia mencintai motornya, dan ketika sang motor sakit… betapa sedih dan terluka hatinya… *otak komikku mulai bekerja deh, lebay Hahaha…


Mengatur kruk as
Usut punya usut , problem utama mesinnya adalah air radiator seringkali bocor ke dalam silinder setelah mesinnya dilakukan bore up. History mesinnya , spec awal memakai kit TDR, tetapi karena mungkin masa inreyen belum optimal, saat di geber mentok di bypass krian piston macet di tengah jalan. Gagal sekali. Dibenahin ulang ke bengkel lain, diganti dengan piston suzuki satria FU, tidak lama problem sekarang mulai muncul, padahal belum sempat digeber jauh. Ternyata setelah ditelaah , waduh… karuan saja bocor, ternyata pakingnya ga cocok! Lha wong paking head nya dicomot dari yamaha vixion dan hanya di gunting menyesuaikan lubang blok selebar 62mm… T_T

Lain hal nya jika dibikin dari bahan paking mobil dengan pinggiran tembaga / alumunium dicetakkan ke RAJAWALI PAKING di bilangan kedungdoro, dijamin ga rembes boss,,, mau sampe bore up piston honda tiger pun kita mampu! Hihi…

Okelah pertama niatnya ingin ngebenahin, tapi setelah ngobrol entah bagaimana kok beliau jadi pengen upgrade performa… Hahaha.. Selamat anda telah masuk ke bengkel RAT jagonya modifan Murah – Meriah – Kencang! ehm-ehm… pokoknya kita ga mau lah bikin orang susah : eh sudah jatuh kok malah ditimpa tangga, kan gitu istilahnya…


Piston BORE UP mx special ala RAT ::
Setelah negosiasi budget , akhirnya disepakati mahar untuk restorasi mesin ini. Motor ditinggalkan pasrah di garasi RAT — sang empu pun pulang dan perlahan siluet nya menghilang di balik gerimis pagi. Dimulailah rapat meja bundar antara engineer RAT, karena kita ingin menciptakan mesin yang lebih dari 165 cc namun aman dipakai harian! Pertama analisa kerusakan, ternyata blok TDR yang dioversaiz pakai piston FU tadi liner hanya tersisa 2 milimeter!! Mau dibilang aman buat harian, kok ya ini sudah batas terakhir. Solusinya , kita ganti baru dengan blok bore up import Thailand yang seringkali dipakai RAT . Hehehe… Balik ke diameter piston lebih kecil daripada fu, keuntungan awal ketebalan liner lebih aman dipakai harian! kedua, clearances piston pada dinding liner sangat presisi karena didesain pabrikan canggih. ketiga, desain piston tipis dan ringan, dengan finishing permukaan piston mengkilat memperlambat pengerakan di permukaan piston, plus ekstra coakan klep yang cukup lebar dan dalam, belum ditambah jalur oli extra pada dinding piston, meminimalisir resiko piston macet meski digeber belasan ribu oleh CDI BRT POWER MAX. Intinya Blok ini no. 1 yang kita punya untuk bore up selama ini, jadi tidak masalah.



Disini serunya, trend RAT di tahun 2011 adalah selain biaya modifikasi harus bisa dibuat lebih murah, kita lagi suka-suka nya Stroke Up dan Bore up namun aliran Low Kompresi… Dengan menggeser big End pada daun kruk as sejauh 2 milimeter, langkah piston lebih menonjok 2 milimeter dan menghisap 2 milimeter lebih dalam. Stroke awal yang dikisaran 58mm, kini mendekati langkah piston tiger yang berada di 62 milimeter. Dikombinasi dengan lingkar piston 60 milimeter didapatkan volume silinder 175 cc! Dengan konfigurasi mesin OverStroke, dimana nilai langkah kruk as relatif lebih panjang dibanding diameter piston, memberikan karakter pengail TORSI besar di putaran mesin yang relatif rendah, kerja mesin tidak berat, dan cepat meraih tenaga yang diinginkan untuk melontarkan motor jauh… melejitt.. ngibriiittt…


Blok bore up mx RAT
Inti dari stroke up adalah balance dan centerline! Karenanya pengerjaan ini membutuhkan kehati-hatian dan ketelitian ekstra tinggi, untuk menghasilkan kruk as yang kuat : tidak mudah melintir, atau bahkan patah. Juga tidak bergetar berlebih saat digeber di 10,000 RPM. Pokoknya kudu CIAMIK! Poros kruk as yang mengayun 1/1000 milimeter saja, dapat menyebabkan reduksi tenaga turun 1 HP, belum lagi getaran mesin berlebih! Aduhh dik… bisa mandul diatas jok hehehe… masalah conrod, tidak perlu diganti karena bawaan MX dirasa cukup aman dan kuat menahan beban kapasitas tinggi, bahkan sudah pernah dipraktekkan untuk mendayung piston scorpio pun setang MX terbukti kuat.

Pada cylinder head, kita tidak perlu mengganti pakai klep besar… LHO? Kenapa? Ya karena kembali ke budget tadi hehehe… namun itulah tantangannya. Dengan keterbatasan konfigurasi klep 19 mm pada inlet, dan 17 mm pada outlet, apa yang bisa kita perbuat supaya motor tidak cepat kehabisan nafas? Kalau disatukan, klep 19mm ini sama dengan klep 27mm pada konfigurasi head 2 klep. Belum pada bisa ngitung konversi klep 2 buah dimisalkan menjadi 1 buah klep? Aduh… hitung area luasan klep, misal klep 19 milimeter, luasan lingkar katubnya adalah 3,14 x 9,5 x 9,5 = 283,52. Hasil ini dikalikan 2 ( karena 2 klep ) didapat 567. Lalu untuk mendapat persamaan 1 klep, tinggal membalik proses, mencari diameter 1 klep, 567 / 3,14 = 180,59 , kemudian di akar kuadrat ketemu : 13,43 mm, ini masih jari-jari, kalau diameter ya berarti dikali 2 , ketemu 26,86 anggap saja pembulatan jadi 27mm. Hehehe.. gampang to.

Apa yang kita dapat dari data diameter klep yang 27 mm ini? Artinya rasio antara piston dengan klep in hanya 45 % dari diameter piston. Wah idealnya kan kalau buat performa tinggi itu 50 – 55 % dari diameter piston…? Hehehe.. kalau kita bikin beda , so what!? Bukannya mau keminter ngalahin graham bell, tapi emang iya mau punya cita-cita jadi graham bell nya Indonesia :p Ga perlu klep gede untuk bikin motor kencang! Ingat itu! Ambil aja contoh, mio yang bore up 155cc dengan piston 58,5 milimeter, dan diameter klep in cuma 23mm aja bisa kenceng, padahal kalau diukur, prosentasenya klep terhadap piston malah hanya 39 %. Tapi bukan lantas kita modifnya ngawur dan asal-asalan, aduh.. itu bukan RAT banget hehehe…

Kompensasi diameter klep yang relatif kecil, kita ambilkan dari dinding porting — kita gerus agak besar seukuran 28 milimeter pada bagian pemasukan bahan-bakar, belum lagi pada area sekat yang ditipisikan layaknya pisau, masih ditambah pasokan udara disuplai oleh karburator Keihin PE dengan venturi 28 milimeter, memberi suplay hingga 10,500 RPM melalui intake manifold KTC. Seandainya di reamer menjadi 31 mm, pasti lebih Mantap! Perhitungan detail flow inilah pembantu nafas mesin agar tidak cepat ngos-ngosan.

Cylinder head sama- sekali tidak tersentuh mata pisau bubut, kubah standard, klep standard. Noken as yang kita mainkan, lift klep diangkat 22 % lebih tinggi dari bawaan yamaha, untuk membuka gerbang bahan-bakar dari porting ke dalam silinder lebih banyak. Logika pasti, MORE FLOW = MORE ENERGIE. Perubahan papasan noken as yang dibuat oleh kicky RAT ini harus diimbangi oleh pir klep vanadium, apa sih perlunya? Hanya 1 tapi ga bisa diremehkan : Mengembalikan klep tepat pada waktunya!! Menghindari resiko bertabrakan antara klep dengan piston saat TMA overlaping, apalagi di putaran tinggi, 11,000 RPM misalnya, kamu bisa bayangkan, klep bergerak membuka dan menutup 183 kali dalam 1 detik, dan telat sepersekian detik saja… PRAAAKKK!!!! JEBOL!!! Keluar duit jutaan sia-sia,,, oleh karenanya modif diatas kertas harus benar, baru diterapkan, itulah kenapa kita suka disebut sebagai Arsitek


SPEC head 2011 : Klep besar — low kompresi
Lalu, mengatur kompresinya bagaimana? Gampang aja, kalau kondisi standard MX memiliki rasio kompresi 10,9 : 1 , berarti volume kubahnya didapat 13,63 cc. Sekarang kapasitas sudah melonjak menjadi 175 cc, kalau kubah tetap standard maka, ( 175 + 13,6 ) / 13,6 , hasilnya adalah 13,8 : 1, mati nak… siapa mau jalan-jalan dengan motor dengan kompresi mesin mendekati 14… bahan bakarnya minta bensol mulu. Cara mudah adalah mengatur deck clearance piston, dengan piston dibenamkan sedalam 2 milimeter, berarti ada extra luasan diatas piston dengan lingkaran dasar berdiamater 60mm dengan tinggi 2mm, bisa dihitung volumenya 5,65 cc, jadi volume ruang bakar bertambah menjadi 19,28 cc. Hitung ulang rasio kompresinya, ketemu 10 : 1, lhoooo… justru lebih rendah dari standard! Minum premium bisa, apalagi diisi pertamax! JOSS oktan tinggi pastinya memberi suhu ruang bakar lebih dingin. Dengan kompresi rendah gini aja kalau belum sarapan, starterannya udah agak sulit karena kapasitas mesin membengkak, apalagi pakai kompresi tinggi… hedewww…

Penyesuaian torsi besar, magnit dan balancer tidak dibubut, kenapa? kok sepertinya ingin untung banyak tanpa main bubut… Tapi ya karena memang tidak diperlukan. Logikanya, kapasitas standard MX 135 cc, dibekali beban magnit dan balancer yang sudah dihitung oleh insinyur jepang sono. Tujuan kita ingin mereduksi beban pasti berharap untuk meningkatkan torsi dan memudahkan mesin melejit ke RPM tinggi, ya toh? Resiko seorang pembalap, mungkin nyawa taruhannya. Jika mengalami kesialan atau kesalahan teknis saat berlomba. Apalagi pembalap, kurang memiliki skill dalam mengendarai kendaraannya. Hal itu dialami Didin Kaerudin (22) warga Desa Desa Pasayangan Kec Lebakwangi. Ia harus merelakan sisa hidupnya karena kecelakaan saat mengikuti roadrace di Kab Kuningan.

Ia memaksakan diri mengikuti sesi latihan roadrace memerebutkan trofi kepala polisi resort (Kapolres) Kuningan, Sabtu (28/2). Bertempat di jalan lingkar Cijoho-Purwawinangun. Sementara sesi latihan itu bagian kelompok lain. Didin, memanfaatkan kelengahan panitia dan juri lomba. Padahal sudah dilarang keras. Dampaknya nyawanya melayang.

Kejadian itu, berlangsung sekitar pukul 15.00 wib saat uji latihan kelompok pembalap lokal Kuningan dengan jenis kendaraan MP4 110 cc. Saat dimulai, sampai rate ke empat tidak ada kejadian mengerikan. Namun pada rate ke lima, tiba-tiba Didin dengan kecepatan tinggi menikung di tempat star. Namun dia tidak bisa mengendalikan laju motornya.

Didin pun menabrak bantalan pembatas. Namun karena kencangnya kendaraan, membuat tubuhnya terpental. Sesaat hendak jatuh ke aspal, tiba-tiba dari arah belakang muncul pembalap lain dan tidak bisa menghindar dari tubuh Didin. Didin pun tersodok motor dan kembali mental. Tubuhnya ambruk di aspal, sementara helmnya terlepas dari kepalanya dan koma.

Saat itu juga, ajang latihan berhenti seketika. Panitia dan juri berlarian memburu korban dan langsung dilarikan ke rumah sakit wijaya kusumah (RSWK). Dikarenakan perlengkapan medisnya masih kurang. Didin dilarikan ke rumah sakit plumbon Kab Cirebon. Kendati telah bersusah payah, tim medis tidak bisa berbuat banyak. Didin menghembuskan nafasnya.

Ketika dikonfirmasikan ke ketua panitia, Yayan Olly, juga ketua ikatan motor indonesia kuningan (IMIK) Kab Kuningan, Minggu (1/3). Kata ia, kejadian tewasnya Didin Kaerudin merupakan kelalaian sendiri, bukan pihak panitia. Sebab dia sudah diperingatkan untuk tidak ambil bagian dalam sesi latihan. Soalnya sebelumnya dia sudah mengikutinya.

“Didin memaksa mengikuti sesi latihan. Namun dia menyelinap diam-diam saat star dan tanpa sepengetahuan panitia. Kendati demikian, bentuk tanggung jawab panitia tetap dilaksanakan. Seluruh biaya perawatan di RSWK merupakan tanggung jawabnya. Selain itu melakukan pengurusan asuransi kecelakaan untuk pembiayaan di rumah sakit Plumbon,” ucap Yayan.

Saat disinggung pelaksanaan Roadrace Kapolres Cup, Yayan menyebutkan. Roadrace dilaksanakan setiap tahun antara IMIK Kab Kuningan bekerja sama dengan IMI Bandung. Untuk tahun ini, dilaksanakan Minggu (1/3). Tujuannya untuk melakukan penggalian potensi atlet balap motor di Kab Kuningan juga sebagai ajang pemanasan roadrace tingkat Jawa Barat.
